Campsite Rules
Ocean Pitch is a cosy campsite within touching distance of the beach.
Our pitches are close together, and we do our utmost to offer a first-class camping experience; therefore, we have a few strict guidelines.

Ocean Pitch is a cosy campsite within touching distance of the beach. Our pitches are close together and we do our utmost to offer a first class camping experience and therefore we have a few strict guidelines.
External Noise
While we do our utmost to ensure our campsite is peaceful and chilled, Croyde Bay can be a thriving area, especially at peak times. The area outside of Ocean Pitch can sometimes be noisy; however, we request that all guests keep noise to a respectable level while on the pitch.
Fires
We do not permit open fires on site; however, small fires in designated small fire pits or buckets raised off the ground are acceptable. These need to be put out with a bucket of water when you hit the hay for the night.
No Dogs
We do not permit dogs for campers staying over. They are, however, welcome to visit the site with owners while grabbing takeaway from the street food vans.
No Caravans
Currently, Ocean Pitch does not have the correct licence to accept caravans. The site itself is also too small to host these without impacting other guests. As such, we only allow tents, campervans, small motorhomes (under 6.5m in length), trailer tents, and roof tents.
5 mph Speed Limit
We kindly ask that all vehicles stick to the 5mph speed limit while entering and exiting the campsite. This ensures safety for all campers on site.
Audible Music
If you would like to play chilled music on your pitch, please ensure the volume is low and turned off by 9pm. We hold the right to withdraw this should guests abuse this goodwill and play loud music during the day and/or past 9pm.
No large group bookings
Due to the small size of our Croyde campsite, we do not allow large group bookings, including hen or stag parties. If you have questions regarding whether your group constitutes a “large” group booking, then please get in touch with us.
check in / check out
Check-in is anytime after midday, and check-outs on the day of departure are at 10:30am. We kindly ask that all new arrivals check in with a member of our team at reception.
under 18's
We require all bookings to have at least one adult (over 18 years) staying on site.
Choosing the right pitch
Due to the size of Ocean Pitch, where all pitches are next to one another, selecting the right pitch for your stay is crucial. For this reason, we show exact pitch sizes during the booking process. Before booking with us, ensure your tent/campervan fits comfortably on the pitch. Check our campsite map for more information on sizes.
